How to Read CSV Files of K-Power

Sprint assessments

When exporting a CSV file of a sprint assessment, the main KPIs and their values appear first. Then, you will find columns for velocity, acceleration, force, and power synchronized with the time column.

These are not the raw data. The raw data appear below these columns and include time, 17 channels, and distance and speed measurements.

VBT assessments

When exporting a CSV file of a VBT assessment, the main KPIs and their values are shown first. Immediately after, the raw data are displayed. These include time, 17 channels, distance, and speed columns.

Meaning of each channel

  • Channels 1–4: Quaternion values (w, x, y, z)
  • Channels 5–7: Accelerometer data on the x, y, z axes (m/s²)
  • Channels 8–10: Gyroscope data on the x, y, z axes (deg/s)
  • Channels 11–13: Magnetometer data on the x, y, z axes (µT)
  • Channel 14: Line-of-sight distance (cm) — used for the orange line (position)
  • Channel 15: RSSI first path (direct)
  • Channel 16: RSSI second path (indirect)
  • Channel 17: Signal lost indicator — should remain at 0

Any value below 1000 indicates retries (for example, 990 means 10 retries).
